These bags are constructed from 100% spun-bonded polyester media with a variety of coatings applied, depending on the application's needs.
To fit the specified filtration area, this spun bonded medium is pleated in various pleated depths and heights. In comparison to any standard tube type filter bags, spun bonded filter media provides surface filtration, which enables pleated bags to give a very high throughput and a smaller pressure drop across the filter. Comparing pleated configuration to other typical bags, the filtration area is nearly 3–4 times greater.
